Hustle Tracker ("the app") is developed by Yusuf Ozmen. This policy explains how the app handles your data. Your privacy is a core design principle of this app.

What Data Is Collected

Hustle Tracker stores the following data, all of which you create directly:

• Side hustles — names, icons, colors, and active/archived status
• Transactions — amounts, dates, types (income/expense), categories, and optional notes
• Recurring transaction templates — frequency, start/end dates, and schedule configuration
• Receipt images — photos you attach to transactions (camera or photo library)
• App settings — currency preference, filing status, tax deadline notification preference, and mileage rate

The app does not collect any identifiers, device information, location data, usage analytics, or any data beyond what you explicitly enter.

How Data Is Collected and Stored

All data is processed and stored entirely on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. No data is ever transmitted to any server. The app makes zero network requests and functions entirely offline.

Camera and Photo Library Access

Hustle Tracker requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you attach receipt photos to transactions. These images are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any third party. Camera and photo library access is optional — the app is fully functional without granting these permissions.

Subscriptions

Hustle Tracker offers an optional auto-renewable subscription (Hustle Tracker Pro) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app verifies subscription status using Apple's StoreKit framework on your device. No purchase or payment data is transmitted to any external server, as the developer does not operate any servers.

Third-Party Services

Hustle Tracker does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, analytics services, or crash reporting tools. No data is shared with any third party.

Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you choose to keep it. There is no automatic expiration or server-side retention. Data persists until you explicitly delete it or uninstall the app.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time through the following methods:

• Delete individual items — swipe to delete any hustle, transaction, or recurring template
• Reset all data — use "Reset All Data" in Settings to permanently remove all hustles, transactions, recurring templates, and settings
• Uninstall the app — removing the app from your device deletes all stored data

Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• View all your data directly within the app
• Export your data as CSV files from Settings
• Delete any or all data as described above
• Revoke camera or photo library access at any time via iOS Settings > Hustle Tracker

Since the app does not collect or store data on any server, there is no data to request access to or deletion of beyond what is on your device.

Children's Privacy

Hustle Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store.
